UI/UX & Motion Designer at SAN Data Systems Inc.About
Transforming complex enterprise SaaS interfaces into clean, motion-ready visual experiences.
A complete UI/UX overhaul for SAN Data Systems' enterprise platforms (Data Migrator of DAIRO, and ModernizeX). The project involved simplifying dense data dashboards into clean, modern UI frames to prepare them for a high-end product launch motion video.

01. Responsibilities.
Redesign messy, complex enterprise SaaS interfaces into clean, modern layouts.
Transform the assigned product interface design in Figma into a product launch motion video, with sound and voiceover.
02. Execution Steps.
Preparation
Gathering and installing the fonts, images, and logos used in the interface.
Sourcing background music with a beat and genre that match the project's nature and the motion style.
Using ElevenLabs to convert the provided script into a voiceover.
Pre-production
Isolating and grouping interface elements in Figma; conceptualizing which parts to animate based on the brief and script.
Transferring assets from Figma to Adobe XD to export them for Adobe After Effects.
Organizing elements and creating folders for each section requiring animation; importing audio and music files; structuring the project to prepare for animation.
Production
Creating the motion graphics based on the prepared sections, beats, and voiceover.
Submitting progress updates (at the 30%, 50%, and 70% stages) and final versions to the relevant stakeholders.
03. Redesigned the Product Interface.
Upon realizing that the initial interface was too cluttered for visual storytelling, I proactively proposed and executed a complete UI redesign. My goal was to simplify the complex data flows into clean, consistent, and motion-ready frames aligned with enterprise standards.
However, as the priority task was the product launch motion video, the video still used the old initial interface.
I had the opportunity to engage and collaborate with professional stakeholders, gaining a deeper understanding of the project and the redesign process.

Product Launch Video.
This is the product launch video, 90% complete in terms of motion graphics; only the outro containing the company logo remains.

Key Takeaway.
The biggest lesson from this project came from its timeline constraint. Because the motion video was prioritized, it had to be shipped using the original, cluttered interface instead of my redesigned version.
Seeing the final animation struggle to highlight key features on a messy dashboard made one thing clear to me. A successful product video requires clean, simplified static frames prepared long before any animation begins. This missed opportunity fueled my passion for creating motion-ready UI, ensuring that future animation teams have the perfect foundation to work with.
